We offer friendly, flexible, town centre, facilities for groups, businesses and parties of any size. Please discuss with us any other needs you might have such as refreshments, music, visual equipment or any other catering needs. The Upper Hall with its full black out windows is appropriate for Film Shows and Power Point Presentations.

Upper Hall – 13m by 5.5m (42′ x 18′)

Beautiful beamed hall can accommodate approximately 60 seated or 120 standing. The Upper Hall provides a unique, historic setting for a variety of formal or special occasions. Use of kitchen and central heating is included.

Lower HAll – 6m x 5m (20′ x 16′)

Lovely committee room/hall with large mahogany table (seats 12) and chairs for small meetings, AGMs, small gatherings. Can be used in conjunction with outside terrace for sales displays. The hall is suited for small groups of up to 20 people.

Kitchen & Dining

The main hall can take up to 65 people seated for a meal on tables, or 80 people seated in rows.
Seating and tables are included in the hire but need to be confirmed at the time of booking.

Simple kitchen facilities for teas and coffees, or for external caterers to bring in prepared food are available. The kitchen is a separate room off to one side of the upper hall and has its own external access door for caterers to use.

Cutlery and crockery are available for tea and coffee, but not for a seated meal.

Disabled Access

The Hall is on the first floor of the building but has direct ground-level access from the rear of the building. Please note: There are steps to negotiate at all entrances to the building, so wheelchair access requires assistance.

There are separate Ladies and Gents toilets on the ground floor. The nearest disabled toilet is a public convenience in St Margarets car park (about 200m away).
